Huskies get big win in Kamloops

The Fort St John Huskies have finally beat the Kamloops Vipers in a game and it came where it mattered most, in the regular season. Since Kamloops went under new management and name change the Huskies were less than there dominent selves there.

The Huskies beat the Vipers 10-6 in a hard fought game which saw five fights and 64 penalty minutes combined. The Vipers came back with a surge late in the game, but were little to late.

Mike Cirianni who was acquired by the Petrock swap continued his dominace and added two goals and one assists for his league leading seven points.
GM Mike Carter had this to say
We are glad to won this game as it was a quest of ours to get at least two wins out of the Vipers, but it know gives us releif as we know we can now beat them. The Vipers had our number since the scrimage games.

We are now travelling early to Blenheim so we can be well rested and be ready for this game.
