HUSKIES SCRAPE UP WIN AGAINST RAGE
 

The FSJ Huskies started the game off well scoring just seconds into the game and then Cirianni nets his 2nd of the game minutes later to put the Rage momentum down low.

The Rage will get a power play goal late in the 1st period by some beauty passing which leaves the Huskies D-men looking at their tails, but 40 seconds later the Huskies net another and leave the period winning 3-1.

Grant Joried of the Rage scores of of his 3 goals on the night shortly into the 2nd getting the Rage back within 1, but yet again the Huskies strike back with a goal of their own.

The Rage getting a boost by vetern player Robert Jeppson tally 3 consecitive goals taking the lead 5-4 by the end of the 2nd period.

Mike Carter of the Huskies will tie the game up as he just gets out of the penalty box and comes in and one times one top shelf, but the Rage fight back and score 2 more goals to take a 7-5 lead.

The Rage now up 8-6 lose composure and take start taking penalies. The Huskies net one non powerplay goal to get within 1 goal and score a power play goal with 40 seconds left to tie the game up.

Grant Joried scores his hat trick goal and 6th point of the night 5 seconds later to take the lead.

The Rage only need to hold on for 35 seconds for the win, but on the face off the Rage take a penalty forcing the next face off in their zone where the Huskies tie the game up with 18 seconds to play forcing the game into overtime.

OT was back and fourth seeing the better scoring chances by New Orleans and finally 12:09 in Mark Zengerle shoots the puck along the ice towards the net and goes five hole.

The Rage and Huskies play 2 more games against each other in a row, but this time in Rage territory.
