The Blenheim Blades who were winless on the road this season and heading to visit the rival teams of the Calder Divison have came out with three straight victories giving them the lead in the memorial Division.
Blenheim saw exceptional play from rookie net minder Sean Bonar who got his first crack in the since joining the league. In the two games hes played so far he is 2-0-0 with .931 save percentage and a 2.54 goals against average. Bonar also added an assist Corey Scotts game winning goal against New Orleans.
In the three games Jesse Burk tallied 5 points with two goals and three assists, while Scott, Frizzel and Clarke all added four points a piece.
The wins were well needed for the Blades as they were getting alot of flack whether or not they could produce on the road.
With the three wins the Blades still sit three games bwloe .500 on the road with a 3-6-0 record
The Blades head home for next weeks game where they will host the New Orleans and league point getter Grant Joried.
