The Kamloops Vipers swept the Blenheim Blades in the Memorial Cup final to advance to their first chance at the UFHL cup.
The series ended with a back and fourth game that resulted in the Vipers winning 8-7 in overtime with Corey Scott's fourth goal of the game.
Scott leads all players with 7 goals, 5 assists and 12 points
Kamloops will face either the leagues President trophy winner Fort St John Huskies or the New Orleans Rage who are currently winning the series 3-1.
The Vipers made some key changes at trade deadline in what looked like taking a few steps backwards, but the players they picked up have been big for them thus far and they hope this streak continues.
