Rage - Vipers set for UFHL Cup

The UFHL teams are now set for the finals which will see the New Orleans and Kamloops facing off for the UFHL Cup.

The Rage beat the highly rated and defending champions Huskies in a hard fought seven game series where they won game seven 5-3.

Kamloops on the other has had an easier road as they swept there series 4-0 and hve been resting and preparing for which ever team they were gonna face.

This will mark the fourth time the Rage have made it to the finals and already have two championships under their belt. The Rage are a very experienced team in pressure situations and will
use this against Kamloops who are in the finals for the first time.

Kamloops does have some vetern players with UFHL finals experience and they will be depending on them even more for this series.

Kamloops and New Orleans met four times in the regular season and both teams came out with 2 wins each.

If this continues i can see this going seven games and can the Rage have enough energy to go another seven games after a hard fought battle with Fort St John.

Robert Jeppson tallied 11 points in the 4 games with 2 goals and 9 assists with fellow teammate Grant Joreid netting seven goals and two assists for nine points.

Kamloops top snipers against the Rage were team captain Josh Purchase with four goals and four assists for eight points and three others with five points.

Series is set to start Thurday May 17,2012.

Will we see a new Champion or will the Rage capture there 3rd title?
