It was just 2 games into the season where these teams met for the very first time. An intense game which saw Las Vegas take home a decisive 4-3 victory. This time around they were in Las Vegas home arena and Kelowna wanted revenge against their western rival. Both teams take up the third and forth final play off spots so regardless of score this game hurts Prince George and Denver. Walter Lawrence for Kelowna struck first in the game on the power play. But three straight goals from the roadrunners proved to be too much for the Wildfire to come back from. Despite out shooting the Roadrunners in the final frames they couldn't quite snap the lead.
